WAGS Events Diary
Wallingford Allotments and Gardens Society is upping its game and have planned a series of events for 2025!
Our first event will be on Thursday 27th February at 7 pm. We are very pleased to have Souren Ala, from the Garden Media Guild, share his expertise on ‘Good
Garden Plants.’ For the last 23 years, Souren has been involved in garden design, creation and planting; his vast knowledge will allow us to take home some great gardening ideas. The talk will be preceded by wine/soft drinks and nibbles. The event will be free to every-one. Tto reserve a place, please book through this Eventbrite link. Please note, this is in The Masonic Hall, Goldsmith lane. Wallingford OX10 0DU, not Center 70.
This event will be followed by the WAGS AGM and Seed swap on Tuesday 29th April 2025, again at the Masonic Hall. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing as many people as possible. Wine and nibbles will be available on arrival. This is an opportunity for you to help shape WAGS and let us know what events you would like to attend.
On Friday June 20th 2025, we have booked a trip to RHS Wisley. We'll leave Wallingford at 9.30. When we get to Wisley, we've booked a guided tour of the garden, you will then have free time before the coach leaves at 4pm to come home. We have 50 spaces available on the coach. For priority booking for this free trip, come along to the talk in February and sign up. Seats will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
Further WAGS events for 2025 will be published at a later date.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about the event. If you can spare a few hours to help out on the day please make contact through our
