It is with sadness that we announce the closure of WAGS
Wallingford Allotments and Gardening Society has been running for many a year. Unfortunately, the number of attendees for organised events, speakers and outings has dwindled and the committee feel it is no longer viable to keep the Society running. So sadly, the decision has been made to close WAGS completely.
Thank -you to all of you who have supported and enjoyed WAGS events in the past. In line with our constitution, our remaining funds will be distributed among local charities who share WAGS aim of promoting the interest of allotment holders, gardeners and growers in Wallingford and the surrounding area.
If you have a project you would like funding for, please apply via email to [email protected] with your contact details, your organisation name, a brief summary
of your project and the amount you are applying for (£2,000 max). The closing date for applications is 30th June. WAGS will contact you by mid-July to let you
know if you have been successful.
Happy gardening and growing every-one
